Headlining the main room we our good friend and firm favorite the pioneering resident from The Custard Factory DJ Rebekah who will be playing the biggest house and electro for her peak time set.
Rebekah’s love affair with electronic music began at the tender age of 17, going out and listening to legends such as Dave Clarke, Derrick Carter, Richie Hawtin and Billy Nasty at Birmingham’s legendary Que Club. In the six years that she has been Djing professionally, Rebekah has toured every inch of the globe, performing at some of the most exclusive parties and rocking clubs in the world. Being on the circuit over the last few year’s means that Rebekah has played at some of the coolest nights and venues in the UK. These include regular performances at clubs such as Sankeys in Manchester and Turnmills in London as well as having Shindig, The Egg, the Cross, the Key, Canvas and the Honey Club performances under her belt, and she's bring this worldly musical knowledge to the awesome Femme Fatale Twisted Disco night! We caught up with the lady herself to get the lowdown...

You’ve been DJing from a very young age, was this all you ever wanted to do? Or did you have any other ideas?
This was all I ever wanted to do when I left school, I remember reading Mixmag at 16 in college and educating myself on the back ground of house and techno music, I was hungry for knowledge.
As well as your residency at The Custard Factory you play all over the UK as well as abroad, where’s your favourite country to play? Where has the best atmosphere?
There are so many favourite places….. I played in Rotterdam a while back for Awakenings and that was heaven, 4500 people into techno, all different styles of techno, the atmosphere was wicked. Another place was Maison in Kuala Lumpur, the clubbers were up for it and really appreciative of underground music. Hong Kong has to be my all time favourite city, the energy there is electric – love it!
You’ve racked up an impressive list of Festival Gigs, any funny stories from these? Which have been really amazing to play at?
This years Global Gathering was interesting, warming up for 3 hours in the Cocoon tent from deep house, minimal through to techno for Adam Beyer to take over, is probably one of the highlights of my year, I had a lot of support from friends and the UK clubbers which I am really grateful for. The after party was funny with a certain A-List DJ cracking on to my mate and another running round the hotel stark bollock naked at 6am.

You’ve had some really successful releases lately, as well as features in the press, what has been your greatest achievement to date?
Having my first track Toad in A Hole signed to Amnesia’s Underground 7 compilation was pretty cool, it featured so many artists that I respect like Paco Osuna, Martin Landsky and Shlomi Aber. Not sure if its my greatest achievement but one I am proud of.
What have you been up to in the studio this summer, anything we should be looking out for?
In December I have 3 remixes out on Phobic records, CS Gas records and Sound of Acapulco. In the past couple of months I have been working on new tracks opting to stop my remix work to concentrate on an EP, which I am hoping to complete in the next week or two and get out for the New Year. My sound is taking an even deeper turn, which I am excited about.
What 3 records never fail to blow the roof off a party?
Joey Beltram – Energy Flash
Shlomi Aber – In Theory Yes
Paul Ritch – Aquarel
You have an upcoming gig at Twisted Disco’s Femme Fatales night, are you looking forward to this? What do you have in store?
A mixture of tech house and techno but it all depends on the crowd and how far I can push it ;0)
What do you have planned for 2009, anything we should keep our eyes out for?
Music, music, music…..
