Not the bestest. Could have been better...
The venue although big enough, could have done with some dark backdrops and a better sound system. The sound was fired out from the front and there was no sound behind so the sound didnt carry...loud enough yeah but right at the back by the stairs it wasnt as good as it could have been.

The sound in the VIP room was much better.

Hey, in Pearcy's defence, I am a DJ and we cant be perfect all the time. Maybe he was having a bit of an off night. And remember he would have had to travel from London..and Thanx for taking on board the bit about the sound system. You aint wrong about beer boys...some right logs falling about...but after about 45 minutes i was to twatted to notice!!

I had tons of beer thrown over me, I also had some drunkered bloke fall over in front of me and got abit narky, it don't bother me tbh! if they didn't like it, they shouldn't have been at the front of the dancefloor where all the action was and everyone was appreciating the night etc.

Unofrtunately you can't ban the beer boys from clubbing but you can kick them out if they get too lairy.. and they did!!

Was any of this event recorded? As I'd love to have A&N and Hardwicks set if they were.

I would like to thank everyone for there comments on Saturdays night both positive and negative!

The team put in hours and hours of work to bring this event to Kent and your thoughts have been noted. I am slightly disappointed in some of them however everyone is entitled to there own opinion. The event has been recorded and we will be uploading the sets from all the dj's.
I would like to thank all the people who made it special on the night.

With regards to comments on Dave Pearce, Dave is a very well established dj in the industry who has had massive success some of which we can only dream of. He delivers every-time he plays and although technically he is maybe not as strong as others how can we comment in now a dj world that uses ableton live and similar programs to play. Yes these programs do take skill to use but I believe it its more than how well you mix.

Please post feedback on dj's you would like to see come to the leas cliff hall but lets be realistic about your choices and would those dj's put 1500 people there in Kent. As promoter you have to make the right decisions to put on a great night.

I am happy to say that we aimed to bring a trance night to Kent and it fulfilled our expectations and we are so happy that the people came out to support it. We will be looking at Godskitchen next year along with other events and always move these forward to make them as safe and as enjoyable as we can!

In the meantime here is a video of highlights ENJOY!

Armin!!!
Hardwick again
Scott Bond (haven't seen him on a line up in years)
Sander Van Doorn

It wasn't just the DJ's that made saturday though, it was the thought and effort put into the venue, decor and lighting. Plus the atmosphere was wicked!

Good call on Bondy and Hardwick, imagine a back to back set lol.
Other artists: Aly & Fila, Nitrous Oxide, Sean Tyas, Oliver Smith, John Askew, would love to see Above & Beyond. That would be pretty epic! But Gods certainly sounds good to me!
Defo had the best night in Kent I have had this year! Thanks very much again, I appreciated all the work and effort that went in to bringing the lion down south.

i had a wicked night well only lasted till 3am till i got karted off home ill (not alchol or drugs) genuinly ill lol. it was great to celebrate my 21st and it was wicked night sad to see only 1 pic of me lol but really did have a great night. wicked lighting and wicked djs vip was amazing thanks to kev for the organizing. i must say the dancers were amazing. pretty gorgeous gurlies and sexy sexy men. must say i would love to have taken them home as my present. costumes and skill were fab and backdrops were fab, no trouble except an insulting guy who threw himself towards the male dancers (must of been in love) lol and landed flat on his face and got carted off, all in all a wicked night and thanks to all the friendly peeps out there,

Ooh how about John 00 Fleming or maybe Christoper Lawrence to deliver a bit more of a tech/psy edge?

That would be AMAZING!

Mate I think you should all be well proud of yourselves for the night you pulled off. I understand what your saying about Dave Pearce he would not be where he is now or running successful residansies over the uk and spain if he was that bad, it was just sat performance was very poor from him! Godskitchen or an anjunabeats night would be amazing and looking at the way sat went think you could easily pull it off!

stop with the bad comments. all in all cheap fun safe relaxed night. the organizers rushing around to do the best they can. we all have off days and if it was one of us and we were rushing round venue to venue travelling etc we would be a bit tierd or lack enthusiasm and in a normal job im sure we would ring in sick. sod the caution enjoy it for what it is and thank the lord that they even graced folkestone with their presence, -x-

Hi everyone,

I just want to say thanks to Kev and the team for having me down to sing with Adam White's set. We had so much fun...IT ROCKED! :-) Great crowd, great music and it was a pleasure being up on stage with Mick & Adam, two truly talented musicians. I know what we did was a bit different, so i hope you all enjoyed it. :-)

Much love,

STACE.xxx
