Now a firmly established part of the furniture in the London Hard Dance scene after over 2 years of regularly playing out, Dean has risen very far in a remakably short space of time.
Since his first ever set infront of a packed dancefloor at the legendary Turnmills, Dean Zone has gone on to conquer just about every club the capital has to offer, whilst earning the respect of both clubbers and promoters along the way.

Having only begun learning to mix in April 2003, Dean has gone from strength to strength in such a short space of time. Preferably playing European Hard Trance, he has adapted his sound to include not only Hardstyle, but also Trance and Tech-Trance, enabling him to play appropriatley for any set time he is given. Playing European Hard Trance and Hardstyle has enabled Dean to carve out a niche in the London scene and has gone on to rock the dancefloor for the likes of Frantic, Tasty, Innovate, Zoology and Addiction to name a few, as well as recent gigs coming from as far afield as Wales.

After being noticed by the promoters of Puzzle Project, Dean was asked to join the team in early 2006. This was then followed by Dean being given the sole responsability for relaunching SWAMP, which lead to him starting up his very own night, the award winning Magnetix.

More success's followed shortly after, as Dean was featured in the Raw Talent section of I-DJ magazine (Feb '07), and shortly after he was voted runner up in the HarderFaster.Net awards for best up and coming DJ 2006.
More recently Dean has had mixes aired by Trance maestro Adam White on his Ministry of Sound "Euphoria" Radio show, as well as being voted the best music reviewer of 2007, again by the users of HarderFaster.Net.

As well as promoting and DJ'ing, Dean has been busy working on his own productions, the first of which were released on Vinyl by Repent Recordings, with the double A-side Set Me Free/Choices hitting the top 10 in the Chemical Records Chart!

Puzzle Project was started in September 2005 by the same team that brought you Obsession and Swamp. Dean joined as a co-promoter in early 2006 and has since become an integral part of the team. Hosting big names such as Cally Gage, The Organ Donors, James Lawson, Phil Reyonlds and Nick Rafferty every 2nd friday of each month at Club 414, along with residents Phil Lankester, Ben Bennett, Gordon Darley and Matt Church, Puzzle Project has gone from strength to strength and will soon be celebrating it's 3rd Birthday.

Magnetix was the brainchild of Phil Lankester (Puzzle Project, Swamp), Ashley James (Addiction, Recreation) and Dean himself. After becoming tired of attending events where minimum effort seemed to have been made both in terms of musical progression and venue decoration, it was decided that something needed to be done. Thus, Magnetix was born.
Running on spare weekends at the 414 enables the team to not only promote each party properly, as well as leaving enough time to really decorate the venue to the hilt, which is something that the Magnetix team take pride in doing.
After winning the the HarderFaster.Net award for the best new party of 2007, Magnetix has begun to take things to the next step, including bringing on Bi-Party residents Jon the Baptist and Jurrane, making every event a night to remember!

Dean has also been asked to host a monthly 2 hour show on one of the biggest Internet Radio stations in the world, DI.FM! Every 4th Monday from 8pm - 10pm will be host to the "Event Horizon" show, featuring special guests mixes from the likes of K90, Phil Reynolds, Frisky, Ben Bennett and lots more!
