Kiddfectious vs Advokate
‘The Outbreak’
Saturday 20th December 2008
Club Tall Trees, Yarm
9pm - 4am

Alex Kidd / Scot Project / Alpha Twins / Brennan Heart / A*S*Y*S / Kidd Kaos / Alan Wilson

Eyes drawn onto the blood stained walls, one can sense the muffled whispers of pain and suffering carried on the cold December breeze, that cuts through the stagnant air of the facility, like a scalpel to tender skin. These walls will hold the imprinted images of the massacre has been unleashed and on Saturday 20th December 2008 Kiddfectious and Advokate will come together for a distinguished one-off event that is set to ignite the North East. Tall Trees is renowned for having an eclectic music policy attracting ravers from far and wide but it has always been the harder sounds that have captivated the clubbers. The inner battle of Advokate and Kiddfectious has led to epithet; The Outbreak’.

The line-up features an extensive array of European, UK & international and new breed talent with 4 International exclusives alongside the UK’s Best Hard DJ.

Alex Kidd is a name that needs little introduction in the UK having dominated the domestic hard scene in recent years. The UKs ‘Best DJ’ (Hard Dance Awards 2008) is joined by international special guest Scot Project. Scot has been at the forefront of the hard & tech trance scene with a superlative career spanning 14 years. On 20th December he will perform an ‘exclusive producers set’ with a selection of paramount Scot Project tracks and remixes. The second of the four international exclusives is Fabian Bohn aka Brennan Heart.

Brennan Heart has been producing music for the past 6 years and in recent times he is inundated with requests for remixes from the likes of The Horrorist, Philippe Rochard, Zemtec, Technoboy, Deepack, The Prophet & Duro. His definite strong suite is producing energetic musical styles encompassing Hardstyle, Techno, Hardtrance & Techtrance and his vision is to generate a unique and mysterious sense of energy within each production, and to convey this energy onto the dance floor and the audience.

Dutch brothers Arjen & Anco Timmerman call themselves Alpha Twins but despite this name they are no twins at all. Behind the turntables the two will strike you as being identical Twins because of their similar taste in music and mutual agreement. Although Arjen and Anco were born and bred in the ‘cheese’ town of Edam which is a sharp contrast to their pounding, industrial hardstyle.

The shadowy enigma of the A*S*Y*S project has long been a hotly debated secret. The Kiddfectious favourite fuses the aggression of hardstyle with the rhythm and funk of smashing techno and an all pervading rock & roll sensibility, it is of course the siren song of the A*S*Y*S 303 inferno that has come to best signify the boundless and indefinable style that has taken the world at gun point.

To complete this awe-inspiring hardstyle line-up, Kiddfectious & Advokate call upon their band of precociously talented prodigies Kidd Kaos & Alan Wilson who are set to inflame proceedings and as the clock strikes 9pm, expect to hear hard-edged sounds resonating round the dance floor as the atmosphere bubbles creating an effervescence of intense emotion. This is Kiddfectious vs Advokate, this is ‘The Outbreak’

Or no dont tease!!! If I hear any of the following I will actually love you forever lol, proper school ground tactics!

My favourite tuneage but im not sure if you can download it anywhere

uk.youtube.com Hidden place - Evil Activities
uk.youtube.com Nobody said it was easy - Evil Activities (Defqon <3)

In fact anything by evil activities lol. Its perfect for the end of a heavy night, sing along to the vocal bits then dance like a dick head when the ridiculous beat kicks in!!! Its what hardcore is all about I think!!! I know a lot of people dont like it but i think many people will be converted!!!

If I hear this in Tall trees I will not be held responsible for my actions its absolutely ridiculous

uk.youtube.com Angerfist (M2S) - Chronic Disorder (Original) (Sensation Black <3)

I'm getting too excited at the thought of it now lol.

Agreed!

One of the things i kept saying at the last 1 was that it was like a Mini-Sensation Black (only Dutch event iv been to, so only 1 i can compare to, and obv without the masses of people dressed in black)

Who wants to see Alex Kidd at Sensation Black?? - Certainly not me!

Leave it as it was....the numbers will be through the roof without AK and crew! I know a shitload of people wantin to come down from Glasgow since we got back from the last 1 and spread the word, we dont want ...

this person clearly know nothing about running an event or hardstyle first thing people activator is shit iv seen him and i was aporled if ur happy to listen to a dj double beat every mix apart from about 4 then enjoy second because of kiddfectious comin in tall trees will be ramed not half empty the advokate team aint thick they no the probs the first event had and they are trying to put it right and to be fair its the best thing they could off done and who ever said theyve never seen alex play dutch clearly have no idea what dutch is coz ninty percent off his tracks are dutch producers or hardstyle producers next thing the last one there were mistakes musicly which the lads at advokate no also musicly it was all wrong the hardest dj came on at 11 till 1 when the hardest should be on last but to be fair to the advokate boy thilo was not supposed to play that hard at least this one will be built up properly musicly but alot of u dont care bout how a night is built u just want bangin from start to finish and this is why the turn out wasnt the best this one has more verity and is fuck all like goodgreef as they tame there djs when these boys are guna play what the fuck they want the night will progress properly like and event is supposed to which lots off u clearly no nothing about so rather than slag somthing u dnt no off why not go and see the changes some off these guys are working fucking hard to make alex and his team are in the office day in day out to make this work for you all and steve and harker also .so lets get behind them ay

This person clearly knows nothing about running an event or hardstyle. First thing people, Activator is shit I've seen him and I was appalled! If your happy to listen to a DJ double beat every mix apart from about 4, then enjoy. Secondly, because of Kiddfectious coming in, Tall Trees will be rammed not half empty. The Advokate team aren't thick, they know the problems the first event had and they are trying to put it right. To to be fair its the best thing they could have done and who ever said they've never seen Alex play Dutch clearly has no idea what Dutch is because ninety percent of his tracks are dutch producers or hardstyle producers.

Next thing, the last one there were mistakes musically, which the lads at Advokate know also, musically it was all wrong! The hardest DJ came on at 11 till 1 when the hardest should be on last, but to be fair to the Advokate boys, Thilo was not supposed to play that hard. At least this one will be built up properly musically but a lot of you don't care bout how a night is built, you just want it banging from start to finish and this is why the turn out wasn't the best. This one has more variety and is fuck all like Goodgreef as they tame their DJs when these boys are going to play what the fuck they want. The night will progress properly like an event is supposed to, which lots of you clearly know nothing about. So rather than slag off something you don't know, why not go and see the changes some of these guys are working fucking hard to make. Alex and his team are in the office day in day out to make this work for you all and Steve and Harker also. So lets get behind them, yes?

Doesn't mean they are not entitled to an opinion on an event they are going to be spending their own hard earned money on.

alot of u dont care bout how a night is built u just want bangin from start to finish and this is why the turn out wasnt the best

Explain how peoples desire for it to be banging from the start had any impact on tickets sales. That is like saying people are psychic and didn't want to come because they could sense other people wanted it too hard.

goodgreef as they tame there djs

Agreed 100%

the night will progress properly like and event is supposed to which lots off u clearly no nothing about so rather than slag somthing u dnt no off why not go and see

Hypocritical and judgemental statement, you slag off everybody, many of who you don't know, about not know how a night should progress, then ask people not to do the very thing you just did yourself.

Im just pointing out that this a debate and if you can't handle the fact that some people will disagree on certain issues theres no need to resort to personal attacks. I'm well aware Alex is you best friend and I'm not his biggest fan but I'm looking forward to seeing if he can change my mind.

my last comment on the issue

We'll see :P

Nobody is denying that it wont be rammed though, their main complaint is the type of crowd that it will attract and whether future events will be able to bring in the regulars again or always be dependent on a household big name DJ to fill it. Which I'm sure most of the people in this thread would rather it not be. They would have carried on going to Advokate regardless, but if some pissed up chavy beer boy ruins their night for them they wouldn't return.
Lets face it some DJs do attract a crowd who are only there because of the DJ's name so when they play something different and they dont like it, they proceed to make everybody else night shit because they're not enjoying it. I'm not saying that's true about every Kidd fan, thats not fair, but he does have a higher percent of them and thats from personal experience.

thats what happens with all big djs unfortunatly when u get chavs love ya it shit but its wot happens and what im sayin is just pullin in the regs every event is not guna make enough money to run the event it cost 7000 4 tall trees along did u no that so thats the bill with out even payin dj wages so u have to bring in big djs which = some chavs thats life u need to accept it its impossible to fill a club with no chavs esspecialy when you have a club the size off tall trees and to be fair alex wouldnt want chavs there as much as we do its just they are guna go were he is just coz off his popularity what am sayin is stop whinein on bout it coz advokate would not be able to even continue if they cept getting the numbers they had last time so u can ether deal with a few chav and have a few big dj on or dnt hav an advokate event at all simple . steve harker and al are doin the rite thing and this one will blow u all away tbh uv never seen these djs play to this sort off event b4 so just bare with it and c what happens
